6 Minton Pattern 4051 Hand Enameled Plates 8 inch Basket Weave Blue Gold w Florals. A pretty set of English Minton plates. Lovely hand painted, raised enameled florals in shades of pink, red, blue, purple and yellow. Scalloped gold rim and a basket weave embossed band. Pattern number is 4051. They are marked on back with the pink Minton globe and Caldwell & Co. I believe this mark dates the plates to 1902 to 1911. No chips or cracks. Gold is in very good condition. They do have some light normal wear and light crazing as they are antique plates but overall they display well and are just beautiful for any table setting or cabinet display! Minton Embossed Gold Gilt + Pale Blue 9 Plate. T Goode & Co, Ltd. A stunning Minton 9 lunch or cabinet plate with beautifully embossed gilt brocade. On a soft, pale slate blue background. The plate was made for the famous London retailer T Goode and Co. Who still operate out of Mayfair today. These plates were at the top end of luxury dining and were eye-wateringly expensive when new. Which is why so few are found today, as they were produced in very small numbers. Gold back stamp to reverse including the retailers detail, further impressed marks and pattern number H5043. Truly fabulous condition — like new! No signs of use/wear. No gold loss, discoloration, chips, scratches, cracks, crazing, or repair. Please see Photos for condition.

Offered is this elegant set of SIX fine porcelain china dinner plates made in England by Minton. The center of each plate features an elaborate hand-painted cluster of Dresden flowers, including roses, tulips and daisies. The artist signature J. Colclough appears near the flowers on each plate. A gold cartouche encircles the blossoms. The plates have wide gold encrusted rims of red or blue. Three plates have red rims and three plates have blue rims. The gilded designs on the rims resemble brocade. The underside base of each plate has been gilded. The mark X1025 appears on the bottom of the plates. The plates measure 10.5 inches in diameter (26.5 cm). Very good used condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Gold trim in very good condition but does show very slight wear. The item will be insured.
