Copeland Hand Painted Floral Turquoise & Gold Reticulated 8 7/8 Plate 1890 E Nice reticulated porcelain plate. Decorated with hand painted flowers and floral swags in purple, pink, blue, yellow, white, and red. The border is enameled in turquoise with gold gilt highlights and gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse Copeland’s China England. Also has a retailer mark for T Goode & Co London and a pattern number D1308 in red. The second number in the date code did not impress, but it is probably 1890s. Has some wear to the gilding, and a small in manufacture stacking flake to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. Gotha German Hand Painted Schmücke Topographical & Gold Scrollwork 9 1/4 Inch Plate Nice antique porcelain plate with relief molded and gilt highlighted scrollwork edge. Decorated in the center with a hand painted topographical landscape scene depicting the Schmücke framed in gold bands and scallops. With gold gilt grape designs along the border. Has an impressed Gotha mark and overglaze Gotha mark used between 1860 and 1883. Also signed on the reverse with the name of the scene, Schmücke, in black. Has some wear to the gilding and some scratches to the scene, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide. Pointons D23 Hand Painted Large Yellow Rose & Raised Gold & Platinum Plate A Nice bone china dinner plate. Decorated with a large hand painted yellow rose with raised gold and platinum leaves. Has scalloped gold gilding along the edge. Plate is not marked Pointons; however, it matches another smaller plate I have listed separately that has a Pointons mark used between 1883 and 1891 and the same pattern number. Marked with the pattern number D23 in red. Has some wear to the gilding and some usage wear, but otherwise good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Measures approximately 9 inches wide. Decorated with a pale yellow border with hand painted cottage, church, and a castle or abbey ruin with trees. With gold gilding along the edge and gold gilding and arched/scalloped gilding along the inner rim. Marked on the reverse Worcester in red script and also with the pattern number 229 in red. Probably Grainger, Lee & Co, Worcester. Circa 1814 to 1839. Has some wear consistent with age and use including some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Does have the old mark as you can see in the pics. They are pre-owned but appear to have not been used. They have no chips, no cracks, and no crazing that I could find.
