Mid-century White Gold by Sango 54 + 4 count dinnerware set. 3786, produced in Japan between 1949 and 1976, before the company moved to Indonesia (now discontinued). 54 pieces are in excellent to like-new condition. In addition to the 54 count, there are also 3 dinner and 1 salad plates with light silverware scratches on their faces and. Lightly worn spots on the platinum edging (please refer to the last photo). No chips or cracks on any of them. 12x bread & butter plates, 6-? 12x fruit bowls, 5-½. 11x salad plates, 7-¾. 12x dinner plates, 10-? 11x soup bowls, 8-½. Care: hand wash recommended. Not in original condition. Used, damaged, missing parts, missing tags/box/paperwork, etc.

It’s a chine de commande dish but unusual because the central painting of a chinese person with a chinese person holding an artifact with a dragon in gilt. He is also holding a ruyi scepter. Very nicely decorated piece with good details. Red, Gold and Pink enamels. 18th century Qing period. Similar dish displayed in the Guangfu Museum Shanhai, check pictures. Rare type of decoration. Dating to around 1760. / / Overall Condition Restored part. These area was also repainted, we removed close to all new painting, now it is fully original. Chinese Porcelain Plate Thousand Flowers Design Mille Fleur Motif- Gold- Marked

Ecorated in 18th century motifs with an all-over pattern of peony and other. Flowers with grapes and pomegranates on a gold ground. The mille fleur motif is the background for the plate. “Thousand flowers design”, the mille fleur motif, usually on a gilt ground, first. The Double Ram Centred by a Vase within a square mark appears to be the Yang Chen Brand and is mid-century. In “Marks” by William Chaffers there are illustrated a number of animal marks dating roughly from the later Ming dynasty (16th/17th century) through to the 18th century. The point of the animals is that they are considered auspicious, & so bringers of good to the owners of such wares. The plate is 13.5 cm (8.5 inches) by 13.5 cm (8,5 inches) and is 2.5 cm (1 inch) high.
