HEAVY GOLD WITH FLOWERS CABINET PLATE. IT MEASURE APPROX 11.25″ DIA & 2″ TALL. THIS PIECE CAME FROM AN ESTATE SALE IN THE HIGHLAND PARK AREA OF DALLAS TEXAS. AS IN ALL PREVIOUSLY OWNED PRECIOUS METALS, THERE COULD BE SOME LIGHT SURFACE SCRATCHES. (PERTAINING TO PRECIOUS METALS ONLY). Antique MEISSEN Porcelain Cattail & Gold Rococo Oyster TEAPOT, Crossed Swords. Gorgeous antique hand painted molded porcelain teapot measuring about 6-1/2″ tall and 8″ from spout tip to handle edge. Featuring a stunning Rococo style design in the cattails and fan/shell pattern, teapot has a bulbous shape with removable lid and dual nipple seating for locking lid securely – the finial is a graceful coiled open twisted flourish – spout is dainty and tucked, and handle is an ornate scrollwork. Underside is marked with the blue crossed swords, dating from 1815 based on website research (the “Ty” name on tape was a notation by the owner as to line of succession). Accented in heavy applied vibrant gold, condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage – there is minor age-related rubbing and wear to the gilding, but as you can see, it does not detract a bit. The only thing I can find is a touch of roughness on one tiny flourish tip on the finial top – I’ve looked it over with my finest loop, and think there might be a pinpoint size nip – it is so hard to see and could not be captured in photo. Just a stunning teapot – decoration is over the top – the quality you would expect from Meissen. W onderful addition to any collection or display! If questions, please contact me – thanks! Very rare Meissen plate with raised gold floral motif. Gilded in gold and painted in pink around edges and floral decoration around the rim also. Rim also sprayed in gold, and around handles. Carved from inside in shape of flower. It is a very delicate thin porcelain and rings like a bell. Also, beautiful high foot and impressed mark on bottom.

Early 20 Century Meissen K226 Porcelain plate Hand Painted Flowers Gold Trim German. This beautiful porcelain plate is in very good used condition without cracks or chips. One tiny scratch noticed. The plate is stamped on the bottom with the Meissen maker’s mark and also incised with the style K226. This awesome piece has very nice vtg design, a lovely hand painted motif of red and yellow flowers with green leaves and also is embossed all lover with gold leaves a trimmed in gold. It measures approximately 11.75″ wide and about 1 5/8″ high. Please see pictures as part of description. Zoom the last two pictures for the minor scratch and tiny bubble. Thank you for looking.
