Set of 12 Flintridge China Sylvian Yellow with gold rim. Three different stamps on the back. 4 with green makers stamp. 3 with Griffins at center of stamp. 5 with gold block FLINTRIDGE. All in perfect condition. No chips or dings. It doesn’t look like this set has ever been used. There are NO utensil marks on any of the plates. Fabulous soft yellow with gold rim – great set! Grainger Worcester 229 Hand Painted Cottage Landscape Yellow & Gold Plate A Nice antique early 19th century British bone china plate. Decorated with a pale yellow border with hand painted cottage, church, and a castle or abbey ruin with trees. With gold gilding along the edge and gold gilding and arched/scalloped gilding along the inner rim. Marked on the reverse Worcester in red script and also with the pattern number 229 in red. Probably Grainger, Lee & Co, Worcester. Circa 1814 to 1839. Has some wear consistent with age and use including some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. Limoges Flambeau Fish Charger 11 Plate 1890-1914 Artist Signed MAB Yellow Gold

With Hand Painted FISH Swimming against a GREEN & YELLOW background with GOLD on a Scalloped & Embossed Rim DESCRIPTION: This superb quality charger has a delicate hand painted large fish swimming in front of a yellow and green background. The scalloped and embossed rim is decorated with gold. CONDITION: While this charger is classified as used, we can find no chips, nicks, scratches, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. The charger is beautiful; however, upon very close inspection you can see that there is slight wear to the vivid gold color on the tips of the scalloped rim. There is no crazing. This is very hard to find; see the photos. The charger displays beautifully and certainly is eye-catching. DIMENSIONS: The charger has a diameter of 10 15/16″ and a height of 1 1/4″. The hole was factory drilled in the back for hanging. Was apparently a New York importing company with ties to both Limoges, France and Bavaria. Most Flambeau China marks carry the L. Initials as part of the mark. The quality of painting by Flambeau was quite high and many of the famous Limoges artists’ signatures such as Rene’, Dubois, Luc, Levy or Andre’ can be found on their wares. A French friend has suggested that this signature should be read as MAB. No examples have been found decorated by American artists (Mary Frank Gaston’s Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, 3rd edition). The white ware mark on this charger is that of Flambeau China L. D. B. Please view all pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Copeland Spode Monogrammed CLB Yellow & Gold Beaded Green 10 1/4 Inch Plate Circa 1901. Nice antique late Victorian era porcelain bone china dinner plate. Decorated with a green and gold fancy CLB monogram in the center with yellow enamel beads. Has a ring of gold gilding with small gold beads along the inner rim. Has a wide border of green with gold floral swags below raised gold scrollwork, yellow enamel beading with red shading over white and black stripes with gold beaded flowers and scrollwork. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse Copeland’s China England. This mark was used starting in 1891. Has an impressed J01 Date code for January 1901. Also has an importer/retailer’s mark for Nathan-Dohrmann Co San Francisco Made in England and a pattern number R1201 in red. Has some wear to the gilding and some loss to the yellow beading in the monogram, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 10 1/4 inches wide. Pointons D23 Hand Painted Large Yellow Rose & Raised Gold & Platinum Plate A Nice bone china dinner plate. Decorated with a large hand painted yellow rose with raised gold and platinum leaves. Has scalloped gold gilding along the edge. Plate is not marked Pointons; however, it matches another smaller plate I have listed separately that has a Pointons mark used between 1883 and 1891 and the same pattern number. Marked with the pattern number D23 in red. Has some wear to the gilding and some usage wear, but otherwise good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Measures approximately 9 inches wide.
