I collected oyster plates for years and this is by far the most beautiful plate I have ever seen. The 24 karat gold embellishes the blue ocean theme which accentuates the Elegance of this plate. It doesn’t get much more elegant and special as this. The vintage or antique oyster plate by Welmar features a scalloped edge round shape in blue, gold, and white porcelain, Made in Germany in the the probable mid-20th century, it is hand-painted with a Victorian style, 24k gold trim, and a glossy finish. In all my research, I have never found another place such as this one, so it may be more of an antique than vintage. The plate has 6 oyster placement and a gorgeous scalloped edge decorative design, perfect for all occasions. I have a total of four of these available but have two decided to sell individually unless someone is interested in all four.

This exquisite Bernardaud Limoges MIROIR OR Gold Incrustation Presentation/Service Plate is a fine example of the great craftsmanship of Limoges porcelain. This charger plate features a beautiful & classic gold incrustation design. (I have included a copy of the price quote from Bernardaud – Park Avenue, New York). MADE IN LIMOGES, FRANCE. Diameter – approximately 11 7/8. Condition – New With Stickers HOWEVER there is some minor wear to the incrustation. These were probably store displays or a cancelled.

Gorgeous Large Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi Decorative Plate. Depicting a royal, it has many details in gold and the red stamp of Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi meaning: “Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made”. This large decorative piece will add a special touch to your decor and will make a unique gift. In excellent vintage condition without chips or cracks. Porcelaine de Paris Chinese Export Style Cobalt Pagoda Landscape Scene Plate B Nice vintage luncheon plate. Decorated in the Chinese Export style with a hand painted brown landscape scene with pagodas, trees and mountains in the center framed in gold with blue and gold leaves and butterfly around the center. Has a cobalt blue border with gold floral designs above red and gold scallops. Gold gilding along the edge. This has a red pseudo Asian mark on the base. This mark is commonly believed to have been used by Edme Samson, but was actually used by the company Porcelaine De Paris between 1949 and 1980. According to the book Samson, Genie de L’imitation by Florence Slitine, 2002, on page 182, these red pseudo-Chinese marks were not used by Samson, according to an M. Garcia who was the last house decorator for Samson. The book also states that these marks were used by the company Porcelaine de Paris according to a decorator, Mme. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 inches wide. This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
